Cover Description:

As far as Cherry Ryan is concerned, the bright lights of Hollywood are nothing but glare after her heart is broken on a reality show for millions to see. Instead she’s throwing herself into fundraising for the local community center that was a priceless lifeline to her as a kid. But when a volunteer for the singles auction bails at the last minute, Cherry finds herself on the block—and sold to Jason Valentine, a handsome contractor with a gorgeous body—and a really bad attitude about her days in the limelight…

Cherry soon finds that Jason’s more than eye candy, and not entirely sweet—especially his quest to win the bid for the center’s renovation. Mixing business with pleasure doesn’t seem like such a good idea—until Jason has a chance to reveal the big heart beneath his surly exterior. Cherry’s falling for him hard, but trust isn’t easy when you’ve been burned. To conquer her fears will take a giant leap of faith—straight into the spotlight again.

Read on for my thoughts on Bachelorette For Sale.  No true spoilers, promise.

The last thing Cherry wanted was to be thrust into the spotlight again.  She’d been there and had the heartache, embarrassment and unfortunately the reputation – and wanted nothing to do with it ever again.  She was happy in the background and intended to stay there.  But she would do just about anything to help rebuild the community center.  She knew what a lifeline it could be firsthand.  So she stepped into the spotlight again and prayed it would be over quickly.

Jason’s construction company was bidding on the contract for the work on the community center.  He had the proposal, now he just needed to get it to the right person on the committee.  What he didn’t expect was for his friend and business partner to bid on a date with the infamous Cherry.  Sure she was a knockout, but he’d been there before and had no intention of dealing with the type of woman he believed Cherry to be.  Yet, the company needed that contract and maybe going on a date with Cherry could make that happen.

Bachelorette For Sale was such a fun story.  We’ve all watched at least one reality show, right?  And we’ve wondered what really happens there – well we get a bit of that from Cherry’s experience.  Because of that experience, Cherry brings some unique details into this story.  I enjoyed Jason and Cherry’s story very much.  Plus the suspense of who was trying to sabotage the project added a bit of mystery to this love story.

If you are in the mood for a delightful, fun and entertaining read I would highly recommend Bachelorette For Sale.  You will find a couple who obviously belong together, but they will have to overcome some misconceptions before they reach their happy ever after.

*I received an e-ARC of Bachelorette For Sale from the publisher and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. That does not change what I think of this novel.*

*Any review is just one person’s opinion. You might feel the same or totally different. The only way to know for certain is for you to read it. This was my opinion of this particular book.*
