Debbie Renaud is a police diver working on criminal cases with SEAL Allan Rappaport. She admires him greatly for his missions in the Navy, plus he’s just plain HOT. Allan seems to share her attraction, but what she doesn’t know is that her partner is wolf shifter.

Allan is really hung up on his smart, beautiful dive partner, but he can’t get involved with a human outside dive duty. Yet when she gets between a werewolf hunter and his intended victim, one of the members of Allan’s pack, they run into real trouble, and their lives are altered forever.

Read on for my thoughts on SEAL Wolf In Too Deep.  No true spoilers, promise.

As a reader of Terry Spear for years, it’s hard to realize that this is the 18th adventure with these wolf packs.  And I freely admit I hope there are at least another 18 stories in the future.

Allan’s usual dive partner, another shifter, is temporarily off the job which puts a brand new partner with Allan – a human partner.  That wouldn’t be so bad, after all, Allan is well trained in keeping that other side of himself well hidden from the humans he interacts with every single day.  There’s just one small problem – he is so damned attracted to police diver, Debbie Renaud.  Both he and his wolf are not happy to not be able to pursue her as they want, but the rules about no messing around with humans is in place for a good reason.  But he doesn’t have to like it.

Debbie may be the new girl on this team but she knows her stuff.  She’s really attracted to her new, temporary dive partner, Allan.  Maybe there’s a touch of hero worship at first, but they work really well together and she’s sure he’s feeling the attraction between them as well.  But he’s not acting on it, keeping their relationship professional if friendly.  She’s wishing something would change his mind.  Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it.

Everything will change when she and Allan are out on a call.  Debbie is wounded and just before she passed out she could have sworn that the injured wolf changed into a ravaged woman… but that couldn’t be.

SEAL Wolf In Too Deep was everything I expected, plus a bit more (as always in this series).  We’ve met Allan before and watching him discovering his lady was a delightful experience.  The action is fast paced, the mystery intense and as always, the sizzle factor was on super high.  I really liked Debbie.  She had some unusual things happening to and around her – she handled them with grace and humor, for the most part.  *grin*  Somethings just need a bit of a squeal, ya know?  I happen to enjoy secondary characters, we meet so many interesting, potential future interests that way.  And I admit to hoping that one man in particular eventually gets a closer look at that other world right next to his.

If you enjoy Paranormal Romance, Shifters in particular then SEAL Wolf In Too Deep should be on your reading radar.  If you haven’t picked up anything by Terry Spear yet, I gotta say… why not?  Her stories are an enjoyable step into another world full of mystery, lore and really good stories.

*I received an e-ARC of SEAL Wolf In Too Deep from the publisher, Sourcebooks Casablanca and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. That does not change what I think of this novel.*
