Gah!  I am so horrible at keeping up to date with this.  But… it’s a new month and a new weekly habit to make.

So, this past week (May 27 to June 2, 2018) I went on a bit of a book buying spree.  Okay, so maybe that’s every week, but this one was heavier than usual.

Because Amazon is shutting down the Kindle Worlds program. and there are many KW titles that fit in with series that I follow… well, I might have gone a bit crazy getting the ones that I simply “have” to have at my fingertips.  I know many authors will re-publish their stories with the new guidelines but it won’t be the same without that connection to series that I love.  I’m not even going to list them because frankly it’s embarrassing and to see them lined up will remind me that the book budget is going to be rather slim in June.  Oh, well.

I am staying away from the “Find Titles” tab on NetGalley right now because my June reading schedule is rather packed already.  It’s hard, it really is but I’m trying…. I’m picking up only the titles that I know will release within days (a week at the most, mainly Tule Publishing titles) because, again, I’m addicted to series.

Having said all that… I did pick up some been waiting for and must have author books this past week.  I see many long reading nights in my future… but I’m not complaining.  🙂

First off had to start Jill Shalvis’ new series Wildstone So I picked up:

Lost and Found Sisters by Jill Shalvis

The Good Luck Sister by Jill Shalvis

And of course, once I started browsing Amazon I found other books that I just could not live without… no really, I needed these titles like I need air to breathe and coffee to drink.  Are you buying this?  Me either, I just wanted them.  🙂

And that wraps up this week’s buying spree for my Stacking the Shelves #3.  I shouldn’t but I know I probably will have more for next week’s post.  Guess we’ll find out.  Until then may all your stories have happy endings.

About that Kiss by Jill Shalvai

Sweet Sunrise by Kay Corral

Seaside Dreams by Melissa Foster

Fade to Black by Heather Graham

Stay With Me by Kristen Proby

Shelter in Place by Nora Roberts

I loved those two stories and can’t wait for the third out soon. Yeah, I’d agree anything with a pup or kitten involved is sure to get my attention… and probably my money. 🙂

I will definitely keep that idea in mind. I rarely have a week when I haven’t bought at least a 99 cents book. Maybe I should stay away from Amazon. lol

I have to admit that I’ve started some good series with a “free” Amazon book, of course I end up spending more to get the entire series… but that’s the marketing point. 🙂
