Shortly before the holidays, inventor and former assassin Missi Bombay gets orders to perform one last job. It’s the granddaddy of all hits—to be carried out on Christmas Eve, no less.

Missi knows she has only one chance at success, so she enlists the help of her cousins Gin, Dakota, and Coney. Together the Bombay cousins come out of retirement to stamp out the world’s most evil cabal.

Armed with four enormous, prehistoric-looking birds and Missi’s quirky inventions, will these Bombays succeed before their window of opportunity closes for good?

Read on for my thoughts on Four Killing Birds.  No true spoilers, promise.

The Bombay Family Business was officially closed, retired, done, kaput… until Missi is handed one last assignment.  One last time to put the skills that have been honed in her for generations.

And she has the perfect weapon.  One no one will ever suspect.

I admit that I hadn’t heard of the Bombay Assassins series before reading this short novella – and now I’m on a search to read about this delightful family who all sound like a hilariously dangerous bunch of people.  If this novella was any indication, then the previous novels are ones that I need to get my hands on.

There’s not too much I’m able to say without giving away the whole plot.  So on this one simply know that Four Killing Birds is a funny, witty, enjoyable romp with an assassin family who’ve come out of retirement, temporarily we think for one last assignment.  I laughed so much throughout this story that my jaw hurts now.  Enjoy  🙂
