Colin Malloy enjoys spending Christmas with his family at the Malloy ranch. But this holiday, what he really wants to do is to get closer to the alluring Dr. Anita Cross. So when a blizzard conspires to keep her from joining the Malloy family’s festivities, neither snow, sleet, nor spun-out cars will prevent Colin from reaching her side.

As the new doctor in town, Anita is wholeheartedly devoted to her patients. So when a little boy needs her on this snowy night, she doesn’t hesitate to care for him and send him home in time to spend Christmas with his family. An evening with a certain sexy cowboy will have to wait-or so she thinks. When a breathless Colin Malloy shows up at her clinic, Anita finds her cold, lonely night quickly heating up. And no crisis or well-meaning relative will stop them from making this a Christmas to remember . . .

A Cowboy’s Christmas Eve is a funny, quirky, quick and just plain fun story to add to the Christmas collection.

Colin has his eye on the new doctor to join her uncle’s clinic in town.  Anita could kiss his boo-boo any ole time.  Trouble is, she doesn’t know he’s interested enough to start something, but he’s about to change that this Christmas Eve.  The plan had been to bring Anita and her uncle out to the ranch for the big Christmas celebration.  But you know about best laid plans.  One blizzard, and one stuck truck later and Colin is making his way to the clinic on foot to check on Anita who’s got to stay because the relief doctor cannot get in.  What follows is a comedy of errors, chaos and what seems like constant interruptions.  All the while two people are making the most of the time they have to begin falling for each other… in between emergencies that is.

I really had fun with this one – and I’m betting you would too.  While it’s a fast read, it’s still a heartwarming almost romance in development stages of the relationship.  I’m hoping that we get updates on Colin and Anita in future books since they didn’t get a full length romance.  Look for a few twists, lots of humor and some kisses on the sneak.  Enjoy this one for exactly what it is.. a fun, holiday romance.
