A Kiss of Southern Magic is the fourth title in the Southern Love Spells series.  Sarah’s matchmaking sisters believe it’s time for her to move beyond mourning her husband and get on with living again.  Sarah’s not sure she’ll ever be ready to trust again, and it shows.  She’s quite content with her medical practice until a sudden office visit by a single dad and his adorable little girl has her wondering… what if.  Not to mention the appearance of her grandmother’s supposedly enchanted cookbook once again has her questioning a lot about her life.

Luke is a new professor in town, a single dad in a contentious battle with his ex for sole custody of his daughter, Sage.  He’ll do anything to keep his daughter happy and safe… and far away from her manipulative mother.  His protection instincts are on high alert, and he is somewhat embarrassed to discover that the woman he’d thought was hitting on him not so long ago turned out to be his daughter’s new pediatrician.  And someone whom he is reluctant to admit he’s attracted to, even though his sole purpose should be gaining full custody of Sage.

A Kiss of Southern Magic appears to be the final story in the Southern Love Spells series, although I’ve learned to never say completely finished, as there are times when authors bring us back to familiar series.  But it “feels” like the end.  I enjoyed Sarah and Luke’s story very much.  It’s full of healing, dealing with issues, learning to trust again, and opening one’s heart to possibilities once more.  Their story is well-written, emotional, and full of possibilities.  Sage will steal almost every scene this precious little girl appears in.  I enjoyed myself, and believe you would as well.
