Most people dream of being home for Christmas, but not Maggie. New York has never felt like home to her. Nowhere has. So, when she’s sent on a last-minute writing job thousands of miles away just days before the festive break, she jumps at the opportunity. Especially if it means she’s one step closer to the promotion she has worked so hard for at Ultimate Locations Wedding Magazine.
Nestled in the idyllic Irish countryside, Castlemoon is the perfect wedding location, and all Maggie has to do to secure the position of Feature Writer is sell the legend of the castle – the one that promises a happy-ever-after to those that marry there.
But soon, Maggie discovers there’s more to this impressive, ancient castle – and its grumpy and ruggedly handsome owner, Dan – than meets the eye.
As secrets come to light, so does the magic within the castle’s walls. Could fate be weaving its spell once again? And will it finally lead Maggie home?

This is a no-spice romance with either closed doors or fade-to-black scenes. Tension and kisses might be involved 🙂

A Merry Little Irish Christmas is a standalone title that begins in the hectic world of New York City and soon moves us to the quiet countryside of Ireland, in a castle full of legends. Maggie is a journalist, entirely focused on the promotion she is aiming for in her career. Romance? Nah, she doesn’t have the time nor the inclination to let someone else into her life. This last-minute assignment will do wonders for Maggie in ways she could never have imagined. Sometimes all it takes is a little faith to see the magic right in front of our eyes.
I enjoyed diving into Maggie and Dan’s story. It’s well-written and allows us to unwind slowly with Maggie as the magic of both the Irish countryside and the ancient castle flows over us. It was heartwarming to watch Maggie lower her walls, to see her growth, and, yes, even her courage in allowing Dan into her heart. If you love a romance that will wrap you up in emotions, a beautiful setting, and characters you’ll want to find their happy forever, then you’d enjoy A Merry Little Irish Christmas by Caroline Grace-Cassidy.
