Title: Billion-Dollar Baby Shock

Publisher: Harlequin Presents
My Rating: 4.5 stars
Billion-Dollar Baby Shock packs a powerful emotional punch as Tara discovers that due to a life-changing mistake at a fertility clinic, she is the mother of a baby boy who is living with his father. This was not her planned future, but she cannot rest until she tracks down the man who has their son in his custody, to tell him the truth of what happened, yes, but also to find her son.
Dion has ensured that he has an heir, a little boy who will never feel the abandonment that Dion has felt. He is mistrustful of Tara, especially considering that they had spent a passionate night together as strangers. Showing up now, claiming that Niko is hers… suspicious. Yet, as he allows Tara to interact with Niko, he will begin to see another side to this mysterious stranger, a woman who is breaking down walls as quickly as he tries to erect them. Through technology and the mistake of a fertility clinic, they’ve created a new, innocent life… perhaps they can create a true family by choice.
I enjoyed Billion-Dollar Baby Shock so much. While perhaps not a story ripped from the headlines, I can certainly see how this situation could come about. I adored Tara’s family, giving Dion a taste of what a real, loving family could be. I liked this couple both individually and most definitely together. If you love a romance that is well-written, engaging, passionate, and delivers all the feels you could possibly desire, then you’d love Billion-Dollar Baby Shock by Abby Green.
