Bride of Betrayal is a standalone title in the Harlequin Presents imprint. I loved the opening for Angelica (Angel) and Leonardo’s (Leo) complicated romance.  It’s poignant, it’s chilling, and it sets the tone for their story to unfold.  I read a lot of romance, and this was one of the best opening chapters I can remember in a long time.

Their story is one of manipulation, betrayals, lies, and a burning need for revenge that morphs into a renewal of this couple’s long-time love and passion, which was sacrificed on the altar of one nasty man’s manipulation of each of them.  Their journey is both heartbreaking and uplifting when the truth is finally revealed and understood. I was captivated by their circumstances and how their lives were brought back full circle to each other and their intense love.  

I completely enjoyed Bride of Betrayal by Abby Green; it’s a well-written, intense romance full of all the emotions you could possibly want to experience.  Both Angel and Leo grew in different ways, faced their past, and managed to forge a future from the almost destroyed embers of their past.  Yeah, this one kept me engaged throughout.  If that sounds like your kind of Contemporary Romance journey, then you’d love this couple.
