Dangerous Affair is the second title in The Phoenix Three series, featuring Quinn and Liam as they face danger, and their own sizzling romantic encounter.

When photojournalist, Quinn, is kidnapped because of what she overheard, she’s being held captive in a mountain cabin… by someone she knows intimately.  Liam, along with two friends have formed a security operation focusing on children who have been kidnapped.  So, although when Quinn’s father contacts the firm, claiming she’s not a child, but she is my child, Liam takes on the case.  His shock that his own estranged father recommended their security firm registers, but is set aside for later as he has a woman to rescue… a woman who will change his world.

Quinn doesn’t do long-term relationships, she’s been burned too often, too badly by men who cannot accept that her job, her calling takes her into dangerous situations, often for long periods of time.  Flings, affairs, those she can handle but forever, not in her future… but perhaps one stubborn, sexy bodyguard can change that opinion while attempting to keep her safe because the danger she’s in is far from resolved.

I enjoyed Dangerous Affair by Sandra Owens so much.  It grabbed my attention from the first page right through to the conclusion of Quinn and Liam’s story.  If you love a romantic suspense that is well-written, with intriguing characters, steamy moments and tender ones, too then you’d love this one.  It’s the second title in the series yet you could read it as a standalone, but I’d highly recommend Dangerous Secret as well for both books are excellent adventures you won’t want to miss.
