Taking a job at the local animal hospital, he’s paired with Gwen Bayer, the spitfire cowgirl working as his vet tech.

She plans to get back on the rodeo circuit once her horse’s injury heals, and he’s headed for the city. But as their friendship deepens, it becomes impossible to deny their growing connection.

How will they decide between the lives they’ve worked for—and the love that could change everything?

My Rating:  4.5 stars

Falling for the Rodeo Cowgirl is the second title in the A Three Springs, Texas Romance – also part of the larger Three Springs world.  You don’t have to read any of the other stories to get caught up in Gwen, Hank, and Henry’s story, but they certainly are worth a look if you like to dive deeper into any established series world.  I’ve loved them all.

Hank and Gwen’s relationship is both complex and simple.  They each have family history issues that need to be resolved before they can each have closure or move forward with members of their families.  Family often brings us the most joy and the most tears.  Watching this couple not only fall for each other but also mend situations with their individual families was both heart-wrenching and heartwarming.  I loved how they first met, the bantering involved as they moved from friendship to the possibility of more.  I adored little Henry, who stole every scene he was in.  In all, I just plain had fun here, and sometimes that’s the reward of any story.  Their story is well-written, emotional, full of past mistakes, and presently making amends to heal family units.  If that sounds like your kind of romance, then you’ll love Falling for the Rodeo Cowgirl.  I know I did.

*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley, and I sincerely thank the author or publishing house for their trust. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*
