Gain new followers and make new friends with the Book Blogger Feature & Follow! If this is your first time here, welcome! You are about to make some new friends and gain new followers — but you have to know — the point of this hop is to follow other bloggers also. I follow you, you follow me.
The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of Parajunkee’s View and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it’ll allow us to show off more new blogs!
This week’s Feature Blogs are: Books Over Bros . Be sure to check out their blogs and give them a Follow (if you aren’t already).
Because this blog does not have the ability to put up GFC I would appreciate a follow through Bloglovin’. Thanks so much.
This week’s question: Have you come up with any special memes or features on your blog that you’d like people to visit more?
Not here on Keeper Bookshelf, yet. But I did start doing a Free Monday Pick on one of my newer blogs Haunted Bookshelf (which is purely Paranormal) and am thinking of doing it here as well as on Romance Is Ageless (which is another blog devoted to novels with heroines and heroes over the age of 30..and more)
Basically what Free Monday Pick involves is… go to Amazon (or any other site of your choice) and download one free novella on a Monday…the following Monday I review my pick and choose another one and continue the cycle. Comments and join-in are encouraged and hoped for. It’s a fun way for me to add good content to a new site, involve readers and find a fun new book. I plan to start it on all three of my review book blogs in the coming weeks. Will it take off? Who knows? But in the meantime, it’s just fun for me.
Now… let’s get blog hopping people!
That sounds like a great feature!! Not to shamelessly plug myself, but if you’re interested in horror (I’m jumping to conclusions based on your blog, Haunted Bookshelf) maybe you’d be interested in the horror reading challenge I’m hosting this year? Anyway, I’m an old follower!
Here’s my F&F!
Haunted Bookshelf is all about Paranormal Romance – witches, vampires, ghosts, things that go bump in the night…and that would include Horror. I am already registered for that one through Keeper Bookshelf – if I can add another blog, then I’d certainly do that too lol
(confession time – I love challenges)
Thanks for visiting 🙂
That sounds like a great idea! Definitely something I’d be interested in!
I’m a new follower on bloglovin. 🙂
Shaunna @ Books Over Bros x
I’m definitely in the planning stages of bring it over here to my main website. It might just be fun.
Thank you for visiting. 🙂
The Free Monday Pick meme sounds fun! Just hopping through (:
New bloglovin’ follower!
Sarah @ Even If It’s Not Real
Yeah, it does. 🙂 Working out some details in my head – but definitely think I’ll put it in place real soon.
Thanks for stopping over – btw I’m an old bloglovin follower 🙂
I like your idea! And novellas are short enough that you can get them done quickly and easily! New follower.
Shannon The Tale Temptress’ FF
Yes, that’s exactly why I went with them, especially the free novellas, often even shorter, wouldn’t cost anything and in an hour or so it’s read. I’m revising the idea.
Thanks for the follow I’ve returned the favor.
Glad you dropped by 🙂
Sounds like fun! Novellas are a great idea. Thank you for stopping by. 🙂
Old follower
Yep, super easy to read quick and move on to the next thing.
Thanks for visiting. 🙂
I don’t have my own mem , I participate just in this one.Happy blogging!
I’m old Bloglovin’ follower.
Silvy @Books are my life
I know the feeling. I’d like to get a meme going of my own, I know it would give me the chance to meet with more book bloggers.. I don’t know. I’m thinking seriously of starting one but – I admit it, I’m a bit scared lol
Thanks for stopping by 🙂
This is such a great idea! Especially since it gets some exposure for books that may not get much already!
New bloglovin follower! Here’s my Feature and Follow
Jessica @ Ramblings on Readings
I believe I am going to do this – I certainly have free e-books already on my Kindle to choose from lol And yes, for some authors, especially indie authors – any acknowledgement of their novels is a win-win for them. Plus it gives me new authors to check out.
Thank you for the follow (I have returned the favor) and I’m so glad you stopped by 🙂
