Title:  Fighting for Hope
Series:  Redemption Harbor Security #7
Author:  Katie Reus
Published:  September 30, 2025
My Rating:  4.5 stars

Fighting for Hope is the seventh title in the Redemption Harbor Security series, and while, in my opinion, this one could stand on its own, the entire series is well worth the time if you can go back to the beginning.

Hope and Bradford were in love, married in a whirlwind, and days after the wedding, Hope ran… not because she didn’t love Bradford; she did.  Yet she’s convinced, given her family history, that she’s not worthy of being loved, and isn’t it better to be the one to leave rather than the one left behind?

Years passed, neither filed for divorce, the love still existed, just held close to the heart for each of them.  Hope went back to her investigative journalist career, and Bradford continued with the Redemption Harbor Security crew… until Hope’s father died, and while Bradford and the RHS team gathered for the funeral to support Hope, it soon became obvious that she was in danger.  And even though she’d ghosted him, Bradford wasn’t leaving her on her own; he still loved his wife, wanted a future with her, and no one was going to threaten Hope on his watch.

If you love a Romantic Suspense that is full of danger, intense action, a couple who obviously belong together, and the found family that forms throughout this large group of people, then you’re going to love Fighting for Hope by Katie Reus.

I have loved this entire series (as well as the original Redemption Harbor, which this series is a spin-off of).  It’s always a bittersweet moment when a series comes to its conclusion, which it seems it does in Fighting for Hope.  But what a ride it’s been, and I can’t wait to see what Katie Reus brings us next.

*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley, and I sincerely thank the author or publishing house for their trust.  It is my choice to leave a review, giving my personal opinion about this book.*

~Personal note: While I’ve read this entire series, the reviews were on a website that, unfortunately, no longer exists.  I’ll be recreating those reviews, but it will take a bit of time.
