Title:  His Forgotten Wife

My Rating:  3 stars

His Forgotten Wife is a standalone romance, featuring Dolly and Ares, who are in an extremely unusual (and confusing) situation.  Ares has awoken from a coma to find that his family has tried to take over his business, his wealth while he’s been in the hospital for the past seven weeks.  In order to protect his assets, he’ll try to convince his PA to become his fake fiancée… not realizing that Dolly is already his wife in a contracted marriage of convenience.  The accident that put him in the coma in the first place has stolen more than time… It’s stolen memories as well.

At the core, His Forgotten Wife is a good story.  I simply could not connect to either Ares or Dolly, or care too much about their future.  For me, there has to be some believability in a couple, something that lets me suspend belief for even a brief time.  I didn’t find that with this story.  Any review is just one person’s opinion; the only way to know if you’d love this story is to read it yourself.  I wish I could have loved this one, but I just couldn’t.

*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley, and I sincerely thank the author or publishing house for their trust.  It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*
