Puppy 3I am so happy to introduce this beauty.  She doesn’t have an official name just yet – we’re going to get to know her personality a bit before giving her that forever name.  But I’ve been referring to her as Bella or Baby Girl because she is a beautiful baby girl puppy.

She’s a Shetland Sheepdog or otherwise known as a Sheltie… actually she is definitely a mini-collie. in looks  🙂

Sheltie’s are natural herders – and we have a 20 year old cat and a 3 year old cat… so this is going to be interesting.

She is the pup of championship dogs, but since she has a slight under-bite she could never be shown or expected to win.  How sad is that?  But that’s fine, it simply means that she gets to come to us for a forever loving home.

We get to pick her up tomorrow – and I cannot wait to get my hands on that fluffy bit of cuteness.

Come on – look at that face is she not adorable?  *grin*

I know! Can’t say I’m looking forward to the late night potty walks since we’re truly in the country now where it gets dark dark but got my handy flashlight. lol

She is so cute, I may have to squeeze her a little bit. 🙂

  1. So sweet, Marsha! Congratulations to the newest edition of your family!

My son and his sweetie just got a new puppy, so I had to take a break and head to the city to meet her. I love the puppy stage. They are so energetic and playful and curious.

    Enjoy!

Because we lived in apartments for years, dogs were out of the equation so I put aside my need for a dog. But now we’re in the true country and we simply could not wait any longer.

Can’t say I’m really looking forward to having half a pair of shoes again.. lol .. but that stage will pass. I simply adore puppies.

Congrats on your family’s addition… they are so hard to resist. 🙂

We picked her up from the airport yesterday – Oh My Word — she is so tiny. She fits in one hand and she’s a snuggler. Pick her up and she heads right for the neck and shoulders to lean into for a shoulder hug.

Puppy Love. And.. she grabbed her first flip-flop so I know for certain that my shoes are going up high lol

I know! 4 pounds of absolute cuteness. She already has the household wrapped around her tiny paw.
