Million-Dollar Baby Doc is a delightful romance between Will and Maddie, both medical professionals, both with issues and secrets they keep well hidden… for now.

I enjoyed Million-Dollar Baby Doc.  It’s well-written, with believable characters facing difficult choices… such as whether they can trust each other to accept them exactly as they are.  Will has worked hard to take his medical tech business into the millionaire level, and in some ways, he’s paid for that privilege since his former wife married him for his money and prestige.  He learned that lesson well and has moved to another location where he keeps his past and his fortune a well-kept secret.  Yet, that decision just might have unexpected consequences for him as he falls for a woman who values honesty… even though she hasn’t been quite forthcoming herself.  Awkward.

Maddie grew up within the foster system, a fact that she holds close to her heart.  There’s no need to advertise something that will only make people look down on her (in her mind).  With some help, she’s managed to work her way through school to her current position.  And no one is going to take that or her pride in herself away from her anytime soon.  She never expected her relationship with Will to grow into a forever kind of love… now there are choices to be made, and consequences for both of them for hiding so much of their pasts from each other.

I had fun with Will and Maddie’s romance.  Secrets will always come out eventually; what matters in a relationship is how one deals with that knowledge when it happens.  This couple is about to find out if they still have issues or a happy ending.  If this sounds like your kind of Medical Romance, then you’ll love Million-Dollar Baby Doc.
