Wheeew!  Finally done.  And much more successful than I originally thought I’d be, which is a very good thing to discover.

I was able to:

1.  Get some memes done or set up for 6 months in advance.

2.  Put together 8 discussion posts that will drop once a month, so far

3.  Finished 10 non-NetGalley reviews (owned books) to hit on those days I normally don’t review

4.  Made plans to now move this mini-blog ahead idea over to Haunted Bookshelf and work it on that paranormal blog of mine  (with the idea to do that on the others, in time, as well)

So, Anna ~ thank you so much ((virtual hug)) for helping get my butt in gear and a bit more organized for the near future.  I can see myself taking a day a week to work on keeping up with this idea, and that is an amazing help to me.  I jumped into this with a little train’s attitude of “I think I can, I think I can, oh how crazy is this but I think I can” —- and it worked.  So.  Thank you.  🙂

  1. I’m super impressed with this! I need to do better myself. I’m not a part of this challenge but I probably should have been. I do have about 20 posts schedule but they’re no further out than a few weeks. I’d love to be more organized and ready than that!

      I impressed myself! lol

There really is no reason why you couldn’t do a self-imposed challenge for yourself. I’m gong to do this on my genre specific review blogs just because it was such a help to me here.. It really is all about making it a habit. IMO

  2. Woots! That is incredible Marcy!! So happy for you! It definitely is about making it a habit. It does get easier the longer you do it too 🙂 The challenges are great bits of motivation for me to keep it up 🙂

Best of luck tackling your other blogs!! You can totally do it!! I’ll be hosting another official one in October and will announce that later this summer 🙂

I actually am impressed myself. *pats own back*

I wasn’t sure when I started how much I’d actually get done, but I just kept thinking of things that I could have ready or at least partially done – like the memes – and then it just took off for me. Having the memes set up, posts made and ready to drop the book of the moment into will save so much time. Some I was able to complete, others are too far out but the basic post is made just some tweaks need done to them, I consider that a help.

Overall, it was a success for me. And come October I’ll be ready for the next round. Yeah, making doing this kind of background work, a habit, really can make a difference.
