One encounter… will forever change three lives.

Hailey has hit rock bottom and not gotten up from there.  The one shining light in her life is her daughter, and she will do anything to protect her.  Even sorta  trust one sexy, hot alpha male who only understands one night stands but will do everything in his power to keep her and her daughter safe.

Morrison doesn’t do commitment.  He does however do one night stands very well indeed.  A gambler with a love of the good life, he’s a man who has pulled himself up and stayed on top.  His only loyalty is to his brothers.

So why wasn’t one encounter with the mysterious Hailey enough?  What in the world was he doing getting himself involved in her life, her troubles?  Morrison has no clear answers or at least not ones that he’s willing to accept right now,  but Hailey is in trouble and he’s the man who will be there for her and her daughter – whether she accepts that or not.

Morrison is such an intense story.  And let’s face it, he’s also hot sex on a stick so what’s not to love right there.  And while he is all arrogant, alpha on the surface, down deep where the heart lives Morrison is a very different man.  His admiration and his love for Hailey and Marissa will come shining through the pages.  Hailey is strong, resilient and such an amazing character considering all that had happened to her.  She may be down, but she’s no pushover.  And I’ve read about some nasty ex-es but this scumbag takes the prize.  A jerk who has kept tabs on how much he’s spent on her during their marriage – and he expects her to pay him back?  WT…?  Yeah Monte gets the grand prize for slimeball jerk.

If really strong language and some sexy bedroom (or anywhere) scenes bother you – just skip over those parts, because you’ll be missing an amazing story if you let that keep you from reading Morrison.  In my opinion.

I loved this story and will be waiting for the next one.  Highly recommend for readers who enjoy a strong couple who simply belong together whether they’re ready to see that yet or not.
