A heartening romance of friendship, second chances, and the healing power of love…
Mackenzie Hart has made a career out of writing about eternal love, so when she finds her perfect match in Hunter Kane, she decides to put it all on the line. Irresistibly charming and drenched in alpha-male swagger, Hunter isn’t just the catch of the town—he’s Mackenzie’s best friend. Only someone beats her to the altar. After a fresh start and three years to recover, the last thing Mackenzie expects is for her old life to come knocking…
Recently divorced, musician Hunter Kane wants to reconnect with the woman he left behind. Admitting his biggest mistake comes first. What comes next is up to Mackenzie. He hopes she’ll give him a second chance. He may have been the one to break her heart, but he knows he can also be the one to mend it.
As a tenuous friendship turns into something more, Hunter’s life on the road beckons once again. Will love be enough to keep them together, or will their wildly different worlds be too much for them to overcome?

After finishing Promise Me You I am, quite frankly, speechless. I’ve just had my heart ripped out of my chest and handed back to me whole… and I have no idea, at all, of how to convey that to you without giving away major plot lines. I just don’t.
So, where does that fact leave me? Probably with the shortest, most heart felt review that I’ve written to date.
Hunter’s and Mackenzie’s relationship is complex and simple. The chemistry is there – both professionally and certainly personally as the sparks simply fly off of them when they’re together. Hunter made a decision, on his own, that will come back to bite him both personally and professionally. It was one of those “It seems right at the time” moments that often lead to heartache and regret down the line… his decision certainly did that and more.
Today, with that wrong decision firmly in his past, Hunter is going for what should have been his all along… Mackenzie. Only now life has changed for Mackenzie and letting Hunter back into her life is more dangerous than she might be willing to risk.
…and that’s all I’m willing to risk saying about Promise Me You. At least, plot-wise.
I shed real life tears with this one. I got so angry that I could have punched someone. And I fell in love with two people who really need to be together for so many reasons. Life isn’t always fair, but love can ease that unfairness more than we might acknowledge.
If you enjoy a Romance that will leave you at a loss for words, that will touch every emotion imaginable and leave you wanting more… then I would highly recommend Promise Me You. It is one incredible ride, and one that I was privileged to take.
