Read on for my thoughts on A Twist of Date.  No true spoilers, promise.

Melanie is a sweet woman who runs through men like McDonald’s runs through ketchup.  Constantly.  She always picks the wrong guys, the ones who won’t stick, the ones who really only want a short good time with no commitments.  Why?  Because she’s always looking for “The One” and is blind to see him right in front of her all the time.  Mel is in love with being in love – never really in love with the losers she picks.

Finally her friend Patti puts the foot down and creates the Boyfriend Bylaws.  Which might hopefully finally get Mel to look at the guys she’s so “in love with” in a totally different way.

Since this is really such a short story, if I say too much more I’ll give most of the story away.  A Twist of Date is a fun, fast paced, enjoyable story of one woman’s search for love and the discovery of the woman she always was under the need to be in love.  I think we’ve all been there at least once in our lives.  🙂  This is a fun story, go pick it up and spend some time reliving that search for love that we all go through.

*I received an e-ARC of A Twist of Date from the publisher and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. That does not change what I think of this novel.*
