Cover Description:
Innocent Milly Harper knows that it would be foolish at best to get involved with billionaire bad boy, Roman Zaretsky. He’s a guest at the hotel where she works, so she knows his reputation only too well.
One night, when all the other guests have left, Milly finds herself dancing with the Devil himself. His touch, his kiss, even his words seduce.
Being in his arms is pure passion and delight, but she’d never anticipated the shame of being paid.
Read on for my thoughts on Born To Be Bad. No true spoilers, promise.
Roman understand pain, he’s lived with emotional pain most of his life. Physical pain was the backdrop of his youth. His solution to that lingering pain is part of his personality now, he thinks nothing of trashing hotel rooms or seducing any female he takes a temporary fancy to. He’s been aware of Milly for some time now. She is a server in the VIP lounge at the hotel where he is currently “hiding” from the press. Kindhearted Milly who puts up with so much from many of the members with a smile.
After spending time in the lounge brooding and engaging Milly more than ever before, Roman makes a decision that will have long reaching results. He leaves his swipe card to his room on the table as he leaves – it’s now up to Milly to use it or not. Milly is fully aware of Roman’s reputation, yet she is attracted to him and sees beyond the surface hs shows to the world to the wounded man he almost successfully hides. Tonight she’ll take a risk, tonight she will allow herself to give Roman what he most deserves – and when the morning comes, she vows to have no regrets.
Born To Be Bad is a short read that delivers a solid punch of emotions. There are certainly reasons behind Roman’s personality and actions. While Milly is an innocent in a wolf’s den, she can hold her own with Roman. But she cannot fool him for long, and when he sees the woman instead of the actress Roman will find the best reason to change his ways forever.
I enjoyed this fast paced story very much. There are times when the emotional pain a main character is experiencing simply bleeds off of the pages, I found this very true in Born To Be Bad. We find a man with a reputation on the surface and a man worth saving underneath that reputation. Milly is a strong character and exactly the type of woman Roman needs. Their love story was intense, charming and well worth the time spent with them. I would not hesitate to recommend this story to anyone who loves a bad boy and enjoys watching him fall for a good woman.
