After penning a series of bestselling novels, Eleanor Riley vowed to leave her past—and the man who broke her heart—far behind. As the creator of one of television’s most beloved dramas, Elle couldn’t have written a better comeback for herself. But her success doesn’t leave much room in her life for romance…until Luke Kingston enters the scene.
Luke, a stunningly handsome star, is set to play the latest love interest in Elle’s show…but he’s got his eye on Elle, and she can’t deny their sizzling chemistry. Then Elle has a chance encounter with Troy Saladino—the man who had been the love of her life—and suddenly a million old feelings are rushing back.
With two gorgeous men pursuing her, Elle can’t decide who holds the key to her heart: her new love or her old flame. Will her choice bring her happiness—or more heartbreak?
Read on for my thoughts on Red Carpet Kiss. No true spoilers, promise.
What happens when your past and your present come crashing into each other? This is the dilemma that Eleanor finds herself in – and it’s a very interesting, frustrating place to be. Eleanor has purged her past through her bestselling novels and her current television drama, and even if she has little time for romance she is ready to rethink that time table when she meets the newest addition to the cast.
What Elle doesn’t foresee is running into the past love of her life once again, and discovering that it is indeed possible to be attracted to two different men at the same time – but she needs to choose one – will it be her past or her future she turns to?
Red Carpet Kiss is that rare gem that you simply don’t want the story to end, but you know it must. All I can hope for is a sequel for the man not picked this time. (Nope, not even going to hint at which was which – you need to read the book to find that out)
I enjoyed this novel very much and honestly, each man had points going for him at different parts of the story. They are both good guys, there is not a loser to dump here, but two men who bring differing things to a woman who must decide where her heart truly lies. The writing was fast paced, the story fun and involved and the secondary characters charming and entertaining. Give yourself a treat and pick this one up. You’ll find a love story to bring you to tears, laughter, anger, sadness and ultimately to the love that is perfect for this lady.
*I received an e-ARC of Red Carpet Kiss from the publisher and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. That does not change what I think of this novel.*
This novel is available in a variety of formats and for the Kindle
Interesting story premise. 😀 Now I’m dying to find out which man she ended up with. Great review! And thanks for not even hinting a little bit. 😀

You’re welcome *soft chuckling can be heard*
Sometimes even a hint will give away too much of a story – and this is that kind of story. It was a fun read, well put together and I hope you eventually find out which man was which. 🙂
