He bet on logic. She bet on love.

Romance author Seven Michaels believes in love to her very core. She has to–not only for herself, but for her readers. So when luxury salesman Blake Turner insults not only her books but the people who read them, Seven’s ready to throw down. How dare a playboy like Blake insinuate romance lovers are full of crap?

He wants proof? Fine. She bets Blake she can make him fall for her by using the rules in her latest novel before the end of the convention, or she’ll denounce love in front of all her fellow authors and fans at the Romance Lovers Convention ball. A dangerous game to be sure, but humiliating Blake is worth the risk.

But when Seven realizes she’s the one who’s being seduced, she’s no longer sure who is playing whom…or whether she’ll have a career when the bet is over.

Read on for my thoughts on Seducing Seven.  No true spoilers, promise.

From the first elevator kiss up through the last kiss on stage, Seducing Seven was a magical carpet ride full of romance, emotions and the “feels” that make the romance novel industry spin around on its neverending carousel of proving over and over again that love matters.

When romance writer, Seven Michaels bets salesman Blake Turner that she can get him to fall in love with her – it’s either the best bet of her life or the worst humiliation she’ll ever experience.  But, damn, the way he puts down love and romance as if they simply don’t exist.  Not to mention the insults he lobbed at her career and her loyal readers – oh yeah, it was war.  There was no way she could back down.  Trouble is she didn’t expect to be the one to fall in love – in love with a man who would never ever admit that she was right.

I absolutely loved Seducing Seven.  It was a fast paced, emotionally satisfying story.  Blake was the perfect alpha hero, even when he was being an ass, which I have to admit he often was.  Seven was a lovely lady who believed in what she wrote about even if she hadn’t found that elusive love in her own personal life.  The lengths these two go to win a bet are both hilarious and heart wrenching.

If you are in the market for a novel that will have you laughing out loud, booing a non romance believer and cheering for two people to simply go ahead and fall in love – then you need to pick up Seducing Seven.  It’s an engaging, charming and fun story full of emotions and moments that will make you tear up.  What more can you ask of a really good romance novel?

*I received an e-ARC of Seducing Seven from the publisher and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. That does not change what I think of this novel.*

It was my pure pleasure. I adore Seven and her spunky attitude. Stories like Seducing Seven are why I read and blog about fantastic love stoires. So, in reality I should be thanking you for such a great story.
