Title:  Stalked in the Mountains
Series:  West Glacier Ranch Suspense #3

My Rating:  4.5 stars

Stalked in the Mountains is the third title in the West Glacier Ranch Suspense series, featuring the tumultuous relationship between Scarlett and Miles.  Scarlett didn’t really have a choice about returning to her estranged family’s ranch; her former agent guaranteed that when stalking her became their mission in life.  At the moment, her acting skills are working overtime as Scarlett tries to blend in like any other guest, all the while being aware of a potential target being painted on her back.  It didn’t help one little bit that the most annoying cowboy around has her dividing her attention from her situation to thinking about a handsome, annoying cowboy.  Then, when her stalker makes a dangerous move, it’s no longer only Scarlett in the crosshairs.

I was easily swept up into Stalked in the Mountains.  Scarlett and Miles’ story is intense, intriguing, well-written, and full of twists and turns no one will see coming.  Once again, Danica Winters kept me on edge throughout, flipping pages, while trying to get two steps ahead of this vile person… spoiler alert:  I never did, and that ending was amazing.  If you love your romance with a dangerous edge, if fitting puzzle pieces together to see the whole picture is how you enjoy reading, then this one is perfect for you.
