Read on for my thoughts on The Christmas Visitors.  No true spoilers, promise.

The Christmas Visitors is one of those stories where the reader simply has to let go of preconceived ideas and let the story flow around them.

I’m certain there will be some readers who just won’t “get” it.  And there will be those that will sit back and go “Hmmm, I wonder.”  And of course there will be those that will denounce the idea and move on without seeing past the words to the meanings.

No, I’m not being purposefully obtuse.  The Christmas Visitors is such a short story, that to say too much is to give away the plot.

And for this one… only each reader can know what they will take away from the story.  I saw love and faith.  What will you see?

The actual titled story is extremely short.  There is the beginning chapter of the author’s next book.  So this one won’t take much time to actually read – it may take more time to absorb and ponder about it.
