What’s sweeter than chocolate? A second chance at love!
Single mom Tillie Powell has spent enough time getting over Keith Morgan and his misguided marriage proposal six years earlier. All she wants now is to be the perfect maid of honor to her cousin, proving to her uncle that she’s ready for the ranch manager job, which will support her daughter, Shay, in the process.
But best man Keith suddenly seems to be everywhere she is, helping with wedding tasks and annoyingly winning over Shay. As the big event draws closer, Tillie must decide if she’s finally ready to hear Keith’s side of the story—and let his love in.

My Rating: 4.5 stars
Once upon a time, Tillie and Keith were not only childhood friends but sweethearts as well. What should have been a happy ending for them turned into a badly phrased proposal that sort of left out the important parts…like the I’ll love you forever parts. Tillie turned him down but was ready to explain, except that Keith stormed off, leaving Tillie and their dreams behind.
Six years have passed, and Keith is the best man at his friend’s, well, former friend’s wedding. No one thought he’d show up, but a promise is a promise, and he wants answers, and this is the place to find those answers. Running into Tillie as the bridesmaid only reinforced his need to understand the past and fix it where he could. The fact that he still loved Tillie stood in his favor, if only she’d listen to him and believe in them again.
I loved The Cowboy’s Wedding Proposal so much. The story was charming, fast-paced, full of surprises, and captured my heart quite easily. Watching this couple sort through their past as other members of the wedding party did as well was so emotional and realistic. I loved this one and would gladly recommend it to any reader who loves a good second-chance romance and a lot of smiles and happy sighs along the way.
