This is a clean, sweet romance with either closed doors or fade to black, or only kissing.

The Rancher’s Prayer is a standalone title featuring Luke, whose family ranch is going under due to some bad decisions by his late father, and Arabella (Bella) who has the talent to help Luke get the ranch and the therapy program back on track, yet is dealing with so much herself including caring for her daughter, Lily, who deals with fear and anxiety on a daily basis.
Sometimes, I think the hardest thing a person faces is the decision to “Let Go and Let God” take control, to have absolute trust when faced with crushing circumstances. Yet, also sometimes there are people placed in our lives at just the right time to help us find answers, that “Let God” part of the trusting. Throughout The Rancher’s Prayer, that phrase kept coming to mind as both Luke and Bella have some hard issues to deal with, and trust is often so very hard to find, especially when a person’s trust has been abused.
I enjoyed their story very much. They each have to ultimately trust each other before the solutions, once put into play, can reap the rewards. Their romance is a slow-burn, as the attraction that they cannot deny becomes so much more. I adored Lily, she’s braver than she thinks. In all, I found The Rancher’s Prayer by Donna Gartshore to be a well-written, emotional, faith-driven romance that touched my heart in all the right ways.
