The Rogue You Know is a delightful romp.  A tale of love between a thief and a lady – so set aside your disbelief and reach out for fun possibilities.  Who knows… it might have happened more than we know about.

One last time, just one more and he’d be done with it all.  Gideon knew the risks he took but he wanted out of the only life he’s known.  There are more honorable ways to make a living besides conning everyone in sight or sneaking in and snatching people’s possessions.  There simply has to be because this is his last time and it had better be worth it.

Susanna was so tired of this life.  Constantly under the watchful guard of her mother.  Smothered by rules and conditions that made absolutely no sense.  She longed for adventure, to be free of the constraints of her position in society.  Since she knew that was unlikely in reality she would settle for one night at Vauxhall.

And she knew the exact would be thief who would take her there.

I know with any novel by Shana Galen I’m going to get an entertaining look into a world far beyond my reach.  The handsome Lords and lovely Ladies of the ton in historical London – and the unusual couples who are not from the highest positions in society.  Ms Galen can spin a tale about any part of society in that timeframe and I am transported without question.

Gideon and Susanna are such an unlikely couple that they work.  Their charm together, Susanna’s introduction to worlds she never knew existed is fun to watch.  This story takes place in a very short amount of time – and things happen quickly.  So sit back, enjoy the fun and romance and fall in love with a thief and his lady.

If you love Historical Romance, if you believe that romantic comedy is not just for Contemporary Romance.. and if you can suspend logic for a while and simply fall into the story of Gideon and Susanna – then you will enjoy every moment spent reading The Rogue You Know.  Indulge yourself and enjoy.
