The Rossetti Ring Requirement is the second title in the Filthy Rich Italians series.  For a decade, Erin’s determination to buy back the company that her foolish father allowed to slip from his hands due to the irrational need to follow his get-rich schemes is finally close to a reality.  She has the funding; now she has to convince the current owner that he wants to sell, particularly to her.  One wily old grandfather will do a bit of manipulation of the situation; he’ll agree to Erin’s terms… if, and only if, she can convince his grandson to marry her.  Convince the infamous commitment-phobic, Almafi Playboy, Enzo, to marry?  Sure, no problem at all!  Right!

Enzo has hidden behind the Playboy of the Amalfi Coast persona quite successfully.  The ruse allows him to do the work of his heart without public awareness.  Besides, he has no interest in the supposed happy-ever-after ending of a true relationship.  Otherwise known as the yoke of matrimony.  When one of the repercussions of that reputation leads him to cross paths with an intriguing woman, his interest is immediately engaged.  One more gold-digger out for a good time and a ring through his nose and access to his accounts.  Two can play the manipulation game.  And he’ll happily carry this game through to… almost the dreaded altar.  Except.  He didn’t count on the passion erupting between him and Erin, or the softening of his heart.  

I’m enjoying the Filthy Rich Italians series. Inconveniently Wed, started my fascination with this setting of the Amalfi Coast with Ivy and Antonio’s story…and I was equally wrapped up in Erin and Enzo’s romance in the second installment.  Aboard Enzo’s yacht, this couple has the chance to really see each other for their true selves, not the manipulation that each believes is going on between them.  Passionate, yes, intriguing, most definitely, a romantic adventure for two stubborn, determined people?  Oh, yes, indeed.  I had fun with this couple in a well-written, engaging, steamy relationship that neither expected but each deserved.  Gotta love a grandfather who knows his grandson far better than the former Playboy of Amalfi thought!
