The Sheikh’s Purrfect Lover hits every single check mark for what I consider an amazing story and a captivating start to a new shifter series.  So let’s look at those reasons.

We have tiger shifters in a part of the world where one would never, ever expect to find tigers.  That leads to the far away country of Saudi Arabia which in itself is full of mystery and intrigue.

Then we have a feud within a shifter clan that caused one portion of that clan to break off to form their own.  The reason for that split is shrouded in mystery and legend.. but the truth may be stranger than any fiction imaginable.

We’ve got super hot Alpha men on the good side of this shifter war.  Men with honor and pride.  Men who will do anything possible to protect their clam and the women they love.

An absolute evil, crazed villain that even his mother would have been hard pressed to like.

And an incredible woman who has faced demons in her past, and now is in extreme danger herself.

So, come on – what is not to be fascinated with that concept?

Mel and Karim make such a believable couple.  His protection mode began at the first scent he caught of her.  And it will continue for the rest of their lives together.  There really isn’t a mystery of who is harming the Khazi brothers or their clan – but the reasons behind the attacks sets up an amazing premise for the series to continue.

I simply liked the way all the parts of this story came together in a believable and exciting fashion.  I had no trouble falling into this story and quickly turning pages to find out what happens next.  And while the ending closed off this part of the series, it also left the way open as to how it would continue in the next story without giving much of anything away except a small tantalizing scene… that gave me goosebumps.

I enjoyed The Sheikh’s Purrfect Lover very much and I’m looking forward to the next story – soon, I hope.
