Vengeance to Baby Vows is the first title in the Billionaires in the Spotlight duet/series.  Ashon and Cilla’s chemistry is on fire.  This is the couple you imagine when the phrase “burns with desire” is tossed around.  But intense chemistry can only take a couple so far; eventually, they need trust and love, and that was the hard part for this couple.  Frankly, Ashon came off as a bully far too often for my comfort.  Yes, I can believe he’s passionate, but he often showed that passion through actions that looked a lot like bullying to me.  Cilla had good reasons (to her) for her actions, and you can decide if they were right or wrong… but now she’s holding onto another secret, one that may change this couple’s future forever.

I liked their romance.  It’s well-written, emotional, and passionate.  I loved the descriptions of the African countryside; it felt like I was right there and could easily imagine it.  If that sounds like your kind of Contemporary Romance, then you’d enjoy Vengeance to Baby Vows.
