Read on for my thoughts on What A Werewolf Wants. No true spoilers, promise.
Of all the rotten timing that was his life, why did Ryder have to find his Mate at his best friend’s wedding. The very wedding he intends to stop from happening because his best friend hasn’t been entirely truthful with his intended bride. His Mate – a woman who believes in weddings, romance and happy ever after fairy tales. While he knows that love is an illusion easily broken by either person in the relationship at the drop of a piece of clothing. No, fated Mate or not, Ryder was stopping this wedding and not even his own love will change his mind.
Josie should have been in high heaven. Everything was coming together perfectly… well sort of. Her sister’s wedding would be her 100th successful match and the celebration of that event would be huge. So why is she trading barbs with an annoying best man who doesn’t believe in love or marriage. And if she’s not mistaken – fully intends for this particular wedding to never take place. Like she’d let that happen, no matter how much she’s attracted to Ryder. This wedding will go off without a hitch, even if the best man disagrees.
I enjoyed What A Werewolf Wants. While I fully understand each side of this story, I have to say that both were right on some points. I’m simply glad that they worked out those differences because Ryder and Josie truly do seem fated to be together, in spite of their differences.
If you love Shifter romances then this will be a special treat for you. I’ve loved the San Francisco Wolf Pack series, and What A Werewolf Wants is an excellent addition to that series.
*I received an e-ARC of What A Werewolf Wants from the publisher and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. That does not change what I think of this novel.*
