Cover Description:
Cathy Andrew’s biological clock has passed the ticking stage and is dangerously close to “blown plumb up.” While her twin sister Marty thinks settling down with one man is just a waste of good cowboys, Cathy wants it all: the perfect husband, the baby, and a little house right there in Cadillac. But even as the town is laying bets on whose wedding will be next, Cathy doesn’t see happily-ever-after happening anytime soon.
Fortunately, Cathy and Marty have best friends who aren’t afraid to stir up a ruckus-and if it means Cathy’s got to bust out and set the town on its ear they’ll back her up-no matter how hot things get.

Read on for my thoughts on What Happens In Texas. No true spoilers, promise.
What Happens In Texas is a fun story of several ladies, of various ages and relationships. It’s a story chock full of banter, feuds, good looking cowboys and the ladies who want one for their very own. And no, I’m not making light of an enjoyably story. This story has so many characters that are all acting like the main characters that it’s a bit of whiplash… in a good, entertaining way.
The impression I have of this book is a group of life long friends getting together at a bar and telling five different stories over top of each other. And, danged if they don’t all know what’s being said. Once you realize that this isn’t really a Romance, it’s a Woman’s Fiction with a touch of Romance in it – then you’ll be able to sit back and enjoy the antics of small town, Texas – and all the craziness, feuds, good twin, hell raiser twin and every possible friend in between.
I enjoyed it, the banter was zinging, the cowboys were certainly hot and the ladies were often – as my grandma would say – a pure hoot. Just go with the flow on What Happens In Texas and I think you’ll enjoy yourself. I know I did.
*I received an e-ARC of What Happens In Texas from the publisher, Sourcebooks Casablanca and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. That does not change what I think of this novel.*
