The Cowboy’s Second Chance is the seventh title in the Haden Creek Hearts series.  While I will always try (and recommend) reading a series in order, sometimes that is just not possible.  Each story in this series can stand on its own; the town and its residents hold it together.  So you can jump in anywhere and not feel lost.

Sometimes a story will really hit home for me, and Cole and Sienna’s story did that.  I could completely relate to Cole’s anger, even fear, when one event completely changed his life.  One moment that cannot be undone can change how someone sees their identity and purpose.  From personal experience, I can tell you it’s a helpless, horrifying feeling that can easily turn into anger and despair if you don’t watch it carefully.  In some ways, both Cole and Sienna were redefining their lives and how they would look and feel in an uncertain future.  It is not an easy journey, but you can come out the other side feeling whole and with a new direction firmly in place.

Anything you’d really need to know about their story before picking up the book can be found in the cover description.  What I can tell you is that The Cowboy’s Second Chance is a well-written, emotional, at times, heart-wrenching experience.  Their journey to a happy ending was not easy, but it was well worth the risk.  If that sounds like your kind of Romance, you’ll enjoy Sienna and Cole’s story.
