My Rating: 4.5 stars
Swept Away by the Cowboy is the fourth title in the Grit and Grace series, and brings us Laura’s and Asher’s unique romance. I have absolutely loved this series; it’s realistic, suspenseful, and full of interesting, believable characters, not to mention some swoon-worthy couples.
Laura is the financial powerhouse behind the friends’ business. Usually, she’s outgoing and involved in all of their lives, yet right now she’s trying to solve the company’s financial problems all by herself. There’s no need to get the other ladies worried if she can come up with a solution to keep them viable.
Asher is the billionaire who leased his ranch to Grit and Grace for their company’s base. He’s a man of many talents and isn’t afraid to step in and get dirty working around the ranch. He’s also a problem-solver, and he senses that Laura has a major problem that he probably could help with if she’d only tell him about it. It doesn’t help that the attraction he’s always felt is blazing, almost out of control.
If you love a well-written, suspenseful, steamy, believable romance, then Swept Away by the Cowboy by Leah Vale would be perfect for you. The “accidents” around the ranch are increasingly dangerous. Laura is so stubborn and, yes, maybe a touch prideful, that she’s unwilling to share the burden with a man she’s coming to love. I had such a good time here, and I’m looking forward to the next book.
