Tall, Dark and Dangerous Cowboy is the fifth, and final, story in the Grit and Grace series. This time, we’ll finally have answers as to who is trying to destroy reputations and why the sabotage at the ranch is happening, as Meira and Dillon follow the clues and find themselves falling in love along the way.

I have completely enjoyed this entire series, and Tall, Dark and Dangerous Cowboy just wrapped it all up with no loose threads and a love story that is both thoughtful and passionate.

There’s something from her past that Meira is keeping from her friends, her partners in this new rodeo stock company they’ve formed.  They know her specialty is in genetic research for the company; what they don’t know is how she was let go from her previous job in the same field.  The reason is embarrassing, and has filled her with anger and humiliation to this day.  She did nothing wrong.  Yet, she’s afraid that her past involving two unscrupulous men has followed her to Last Stand, Texas, and their vendetta against her is the reason why their company has been targeted.  As they chase down clues, Meira and Dillon will allow the intense attraction between them to bloom into a love that can last a lifetime, if they are willing to trust each other and take a few risks along the way.

If you love a well-written, engaging, emotional romance with realistic situations and believable characters to cheer on to their happy ending, then you’d love Tall, Dark and Dangerous Cowboy by Leah Vale.  It’s a bittersweet moment when any series ends, and I’ve had such fun at the A Bar H Ranch with all of these characters.  Now, it’s time to look forward to what this talented storyteller brings us next.
